Bindu's Academy: Mahabharata · effective 6 November 2026
The name you give Bindu (if you give one), the answer you choose to "What brings you here?", the lessons you have finished, your lotuses, petals and quiz scores, your sound setting, your dawn-verse time, the meditations you have listened to and your practice garden, and everything you write in your Journal are saved only in the app's own storage on your device. They are never uploaded, shared or seen by us or anyone else.
If you say yes to "A verse at dawn?", your phone asks whether Bindu's Academy may show notifications. The morning reminders are scheduled by your phone itself, on your phone. No notification server is involved and nothing is sent anywhere. You can say "Not now", or switch notifications off at any time in your phone's settings.
Two stories are free. To open all the others, you can unlock the whole path with one single in-app purchase: no subscription, nothing that renews. Payment is handled entirely by Apple through your Apple Account: we never see your name, card or payment details. Apple tells the app only whether you have unlocked it, and that answer stays on your phone. On a new iPhone or iPad, "Restore purchases" opens it again for free. Apple's privacy policy is at apple.com/legal/privacy.
The longer guided meditations are downloaded once, when you choose to, from our file server at media.bindusacademy.com (run on Cloudflare). Like any website, the server sees a standard request for the file, including your device's internet address. We do not use this to identify you, and no information about you, your progress or what you write is part of that request. Once downloaded, a meditation plays without a connection. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
The daily sky (moon, nakshatra and festival days) is calculated on your phone itself, with no connection and no location: it does not use your location or send anything anywhere.
Bindu's Academy contains no analytics tools, no advertising, no social-media trackers and no services that receive information about you. All the stories, pictures, voices and lettering are inside the app, so the lessons work without an internet connection.
Because everything lives on your phone, deleting the Bindu's Academy app deletes all of it. In the app, "Start again from the beginning" also clears your progress, lotuses, petals and meditation log.
Bindu's Academy does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because it collects no information at all.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
